, Funny educational toys for age 8?

My daughter just turned 8 months past and I'm racking their brains trying to find some Christmas Ideas. We have many Barbie and Polly can not handle more. It has a library full of books and tons of craft projects. I want educational toys, but fun, activities or projects. Nothing too mainstream and Webkinz (which already has a few). Some ideas would be great. Thank you!

My 8-year-old girl like board games (brain, Boggle, Pictionary, battleship, monopoly, Mexico dominated train, index etc..) Every year at Christmas, I get a container full of art supplies (always a favorite for this) with things like special paper, Cray-Pas, markers, Scizzor irregular, colored pencils, glitter glue, drawing paper, collage, wood forms for painting, etc. She also likes things outdoors (comet, roller skates, ice skates, jump rope, stilts, like).
